We offer a range of products that are seen as the engine of the boat. These components provide essential power enhancement and direction control so that the maximum effort goes into your stroke and steering. We have custom designed, developed and engineered these products to meet the particular demands of ocean rowing. We offer bespoke solutions, not modified river rowing components.

Weight
Weight is of huge concern to Ocean rowers; why drag anymore around any more than is necessary? 1kg is equivalent to displacing a tonne of water every hour and can equate to many extra days at sea. All our products are as light as possible given the demands that they will be put under. The majority of these will be substantially lighter than homemade or modified options. But bear in mind that the average daily rations for freeze dried food, energy drink and snacks are in excess of 1 kilo per day so you can soon eat your boat lighter! You should not cut corners when it comes to products being fit for purpose and there will be a reason why some products are heavier by design. Just ask us why.
