Rowtec Support Vessel - "Desiderata"

Desiderata is a John Alden 54' ketch. She was built in 1975 from the lines
of Malabar 13 a very sucsessful ocean race boat in the late 1930,s and
1940,s. She was sailed around the world by her builder and then rebuilt in
the USA before being sailed to Australia. I am still working on what
happened to the original boat.

She is now starting her new life with ROWTEC and many new bits of kit are being
added such as Generator , Spectra water maker , Satellite phones and
tracking system.

We will leave Geraldton WA on the 19th April 2009 and embark on a voyage
to Maritius then on to Cape Town, St Helena, Canaries, Carribean, Bermuda,
Azores, and then the Med.
